  • The arch is in amazing condition. Like all Roman buildings Aosta makes admiring the grandeur of the Empire.

  • Is testimony to the greatness of the Roman Empire in Northern Italy and is also the symbol of Aosta. Well preserved, the pedestrian area from that traffic. Does not do it justice its location within the area. Is available as almost all monuments in Aosta and is certainly the most photographed monument. It is found in all the postcards.

  • I find this monument unappetizing: in Europe there are other pieces to see. Also in the Arch of this hangs a crucifix of iron, an element that I was very annoyed. Sure, the monument has made its history is well preserved and has spanned eras and cultures, which obviously have all left their mark. But overall I find it of little interest.
