  • having home at Anzio I found myself in trouble when a friend asked me if I had visited this small museum ... so I went there. Of great historical interest for what happened at Anzio during World War II did not appear that the artwork and captions were adequate to the importance of the events. In my humble opinion there is still much to be done! see for the historical importance. ... Anzio is a city gold medal for civil damages suffered during World War II!

  • Museum born from the interest of an ordinary citizen. Thanks to him and to the volunteers who lend their work for free we get to see and remember a very interesting chapter in the history of our city. The place where the Museum was provided by the municipality of Anzio.La exhibition gallery and born and grows thanks to the generosity of donors. Some space and little and some exhibits seem to be stacked, but as the old saying goes don't look a gift horse in the mouth. The entrance to the Museum and access and, you have visitors who had a relative died during the battle of Anzio is given a beautiful sheet printed with the name of their loved one. Of course everything is funded by volunteers and some very rare private sponsor. I thank people who persistently day after day fighting to keep open this place of memory and allow us visitors to make this wonderful journey into our past. From private letters written by the soldiers to their loved ones.. uniforms of every army. unpublished notes and photos, anything beautiful and worth a visita.una visit with the desire to see a particular place. Please avoid sterile criticism and inopportune. you come to this place with respect and humility. "things that deserves who died from anywhere was schietrato. their personal stories are here : in a uniform or a spoon with the name engraved with the point of a bayonet. Thank you that you keep the memories alive ... thanks

  • A small museum full of great artifacts that clearly outlines the history of the Anzio invasion. Well worth visiting
  • I visited the museum in September of 2011. The weather and location were just beautiful. The grounds were very well kept. The kind, humourous Italian man working at the museum does so on a volunteer basis, and has for many years because as a young lad, he actually helped American soldiers during WWII. It's a very small space, but contains quality material and artifacts. Plan for a half-day visit to the museum itself, and another hour or two for the surrounding area, pier, and lunch. Well worth the effort.
  • A very nice Museum but not much valued in the Centre at Anzio. If you find yourselves in the area is highly recommended
