  • Really nice and interesting, full of tombs, pottery, antique arms but above all there are many archaeological pieces in glass Cruets, jars and bowls type that you don't see elsewhere. Highly recommended!

  • The Museum is laid out over three floors, to visit in this chronological order: second, third and first. The visit is organised rationally and has the same function of showcases archaeological dig. Unfortunately some of the descriptive panels of testimonials exposed are discolored and just readable. For a visit not superficial requires two to three hours.

  • I reviewed after 56 years ... almost all material of relatively recent acquisitions. Very well presented with dida in English and Italian. Nice building, rooms with coffered ceilings or that "distracted" by the wonderful exhibits. Magnificent view of the port of Ancona. One flaw: there is no catalog! Worth a trip just for the Museum in Ancona. Time of min 3:00 thorough examination.

  • A cultural experience for all those who are interesting to the civilizations that lived in the past of the Marche region. You are guided between the prehistoric past, Greek and proto-Etruscan, the provinces of Ancona, Pesaro and Macerata. It would be desirable for the enhancement of media channels to make the visit more rich and engaging.

  • I find this very important Museum to stimulate the younger generation. The finds content across a wide span of time and can show exhibits relating to populations that are helpful to understand the roots of us marches.

  • Masterpieces in every where. Nice itinerary between the archaeological history of Marche. Bad lighting showcases in the second and third floor, several educational panels unreadable and lack of a bookshop for those wishing to deepen their knowledge are aspects to improve.

  • Along with the National Gallery of the marches in Urbino, is one of the two national museums present the marches. Essential to learn about archaeology and ancient history of this region presents important evidence from prehistoric times to the Roman.
