A domed cathedral overlooking Ancona’s port, Cattedrale San Ciriaco offers amazing views. The interior features marble structures and a glass floor, through which you can see the remains of an early Christian church. The exterior is usually the highlight for visitors, with its Romanesque architecture. If you have the time, take out a boat to view the church from the sea. • The cathedral was closed the day I visited, so can't comment on the inside. Externally, it's attractive, great views, and worth the many steps to reach.
  • One of the treats of "brands". Beautiful scenery! Advice to park at the foot of the stairs and take the walking path
