  • It's the same ride as the ferriere Valley, with stairs going back. The wet weather has not allowed us to fully appreciate.

  • Advance to the Info: the naming for the hikes in the hinterland of Amalfi is a bit confusing. One reads in the Internet again and again both from the Valle dei Mulini and the Valle delle Ferriere and again from both combined. We believe we have found out that the hike in the Valley is (so below) called Valle of dei Mulini and the hike up (so one floor higher around the Valley) as the Valle delle Ferriere. Spot the Valle was Mulini hike dei then but Ferriere delle signposted to Valle, obviously, that's the more common term for this valley. The hike through the Valle dei Mulini, which we have done, is simpler and shorter. It lasts about 1-2 hours, depending on how long you leave time. We have started the tour at Pontone (there it comes from Amalfi by bus) and are migrated back from there from then on the Valle dei Mulini to Amalfi. From the waterfalls, we were initially disappointed, because the great, which leads the way, wearing not much water when we were there. We had to explore the surroundings but then much fun and to discover the "secret" spots.
