  • Get ready to taste really good liquor, and is obviously then impossible not to buy anyone. But well worth the trip. In doing the tasting I also learned the merits of craftsmanship and it was explained to me how to distinguish from the goodness of the liquor and the differences in production. The assortment is vast and if you try everything, your mood will pass on allegro pushed. So do not overdo it but very limited quantities, and you can enjoy many aromas. I liked especially these two spirits: that mushroom and fennel. Spectacular even that licorice. However all yummy. The choice was not easy. These spirits can be found only at Altomonte because the company is family owned and the production is limited and does not provide any dealer/reseller. Then our group fueled great. Another treat is the visit that the owner gave us in his own ' Museum ' where, with great passion, collect objects from the past of varied nature. Admirable commitment and very interesting visit. If there are children in tow, will certainly enjoy them too. I like to report the order, cleanliness, friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. It's always nice to be able to praise the excellence of many little treasures that our beautiful Italy never ceases to show. Altomonte was a nice and unexpected discovery.

  • Liquor Moliterno have an ancient tradition that is based on the highest quality raw materials (strictly local) and on the recipes, many of which date back to when the factory supplied the Habsburg Court. There are countless tastes (from classic bitter, coffee, passing through wild strawberry, Tangerine, lime, licorice, fennel, mushrooms, to name a few) and to choose you will have the opportunity to do some tasting! The brothers Sciarra are extremely nice and helpful and recommend asking to visit the peasant Arts Museum that have set up over the years: you will find amazing goodies (like a very old machine for bottling beverages that will leave you speechless). Liquor prices are very competitive: I bought a few bottles to give away and I made a great impression!
