  • I visited the Museum several times and I can say it is always beautiful and impressive. Is a Treasury of art in two steps from Savona that should be embraced by the institutions and by local authorities. The location is beautiful inside a magnificent liberty-style villa. Recommend to visit in summer during the glass fest during which you can admire the best Italian and European masters at work live. A particular mention to the two very polite and very knowledgeable curators and museum guides Julia and Irene who will guide you discovering the secrets of glass of altar.

  • A visit which left me amazed amazed, fascinated and glad I documented this Museum in the famous beautiful, historic Villa Rosa, that alone is a monument of unique beauty, in this little town once home to many Masters, today neither remained few but everybody from incomparable mastery. In the Museum there are all the works created by them in different colours and shapes. Guarded by staff and managers who look after very carefully for years, always being helpful and kind to anyone intending to see them, it is very often with personal sacrifice of hours and work. The Museum is situated on two floors and the works are exhibited in specially demarcated bedrooms so as not to too bring the regulars, others in glass walls where in my opinion made of glass, their reflections fade into the works, both times by distorting the splendor. A break or a trip should be a norm for anyone arriving in this small village in Liguria, Altar, but only 10 Km from Savona and 1 Km from Highway Savona-Torino.

  • Nice collection of glass objects, check the schedule because they are proposed routes for the little ones and glass-making courses for adults
