  • Beautiful beach. Just love this beach. It's very popular with the locals so can get busy at the weekends but there is always space. The water is amazing, when we visited in June, the water was warm...

  • I decided to use 5 ⭐️ not because of the crystal sea 🌊 but because of location πŸ“ is really wow 😯 The place where i go, i feel really comfortable and i enjoy πŸ˜‰ to much! Very good πŸ‘ people, friendly, lovely and helpful staff 100% Actually i have bean 3 years ago and nothing changed, maybe prices are a bit higher because of crisis and Covid-19 but the mos important thing is that situation is really good 😌 I come special from Sweden πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ͺ to enjoy vocation in Alghero city, but from Alghero with bus 🚌 is not so far 1€ ticket 🎫 from Alghero to Spiaggia di Maria Pia around 10 till 15 minutes depend of traffic. I can recommend this place to everyone who really want to visit Alghero city, because Spiaggia di Maria Pia is one ☝️ of the best without questions!
  • Maria Pia is a lovely beach with white sand, dunes, and turquoise waters near Alghero. We visited the beach when in Alghero for a weekend. As it is close, we waddled there. From the city center, it took us about 40 minutes at a chill pace. My favorite part is the entrance, where you have to go through a pine forest. It's magical. And then the white sand and giant dunes. It is among the best beaches in Sardinia and I agree. If you don't want to walk there you can take a taxi or the local bus. The beach has all necessities, a bathroom, and bars to refresh. The beach is also easily accessible with wheelchairs, it has a wooden pathway.
  • Such a beautiful beach. We didn't expect that a public beach (free entrance any time of the day/night) could be so clean. If you are there I simply recommend visiting it!
  • Beautiful white sand beach with the brightest blue and green water, at least in September. It was not crowded as in August or July I guess. I have feeling it remains untouched, pristine and unspoiled. Not far from the town, easy to reach either by foot or by local bus.
  • Wow, what a nice, long beach. Very calm and clear water, much less visited than closer to the town. One star off as there are no public bathrooms around
