  • I would only recommend the Nuraghe di Palmavera there going over with the car. The complex is well preserved and also interesting. However, the entrance fee is €6, what was really too much, you could see about 15 minutes.

  • Beautiful place, full of charm. Shame about the lack of a guide and a place where they can stand. Worth a visit

Where to stay in Alghero

Compared to Sardinia's other resorts, Alghero offers refreshingly unpretentious lodgings, with comfortable rooms, good food, and friendly locals willing to share insider's tips about the best beaches, clubs, and restaurants. Staying in the compact town center can be quite pricey, but it's the best way to stay close to both good beaches and the most popular nightclubs. If budget is a concern, explore small hotels in the suburbs.
