Categories: Caves, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
3.5/5 based on 2,800+ reviews on the web
Explore ancient cave dwellings on the Island of Sardinia at Frecce delle Grotte di Antonio Piccinnu. Discovered by fishermen in the 18th century, the cave is just above sea level and accessible only when the water is calm via a steep staircase cut into sheer cliff wall. Take a guided tour through the narrow, 4 km (2.5 mi) long cave system to admire the stalagmite and stalactite formations. You can take a boat to the cave from the port of Alghero to view the island's coastline from the water. • In General, Neptune's Grotto is a part of the cave, where allowed to tourists. There are 10 kilometers for speleologists. You can take a ride on the water, you can on land. If by land-then descend and Ascend, if on the water-very unpleasant landing and landing. I would choose the boat yet. The Grotto itself, of course, interesting, but keep in mind that there may be bouts of claustrophobia. Login-13 euros.
