  • Breathtaking views where nature reigns supreme. Should make clearer the routes and directions, but it's just a fact. If you are in the area you should definitely check them out, you won't regret it. To go back to complete all routes available!

  • We decided to just visit the woodland area (routes 5 and 6) This was about 6km and we paid 6 euros for the privilege. It really was a privilege too. The walk was lovely and we didn't meet anyone while...  more »
  • The Parco Naturale della Maremma is a real insider tip. Unfortunately you will find very few information on the Internet, so, I had not visited almost the Park because I was afraid that the routes are not already open in March (due to some misleading ratings on this page). The Park has clean. opened, the paths are not locked, but separated by small gate, which you can easily walk through. Only the gates also are closed, so you'd think at first glance the routes were blocked. We are the end of March the A2 (combined with A3) gone way (14 km, approx. 4.5 hours with intermission). All the way 6 people us encountered perhaps, a miracle in the countryside. Away, A2 is highly recommended, it first runs through pine forests on a small river to directly on the beach. This is so beautiful. On the way back, you climb a small hill on which stands a tower. From there you have a great view over the Park and the sea, substantial footwear is recommended. The last piece crosses the A3 section back to the parking lot. On the way we saw many animals: a Fox, birds, fish, turtles, wild cows (at the entrance to the Park). Bikes you can borrow directly at the visitor centre in Alberese, excursions on horseback inquiries at the following number: 0039 3477746476. The admission is EUR 10 P.p.. (for students the half), the bus ride to the starting point of the hike is included.
