  • Knowing the history (or maybe legend) of the Orazi and Curiazi would expect a little more from this monument situated along the via Appia in Albano. Continuously (and perennial) restoration ... with the vegetation that advances inexorably, should be valued and cared for. Also because the affair that legend has it arouses interest and curiosity that the site, alas, does not preserve..!

  • Evaluate a monument or historic exhibit not for its current status, not for its usability, not for what it looks like to visitors (because we at this "community" we are essentially tourists keen, not some scholars), but estimate it "excellent" for what was I represented in history or in his fascinating legends, is really sad! The historical aspect and that of literature, certainly very interesting, must be supportive; alone is of interest for Wikipedia not to! I expect the consultation to Tripadvisor to receive news about what's good or bad that I can see in that place to orient and organize my trip. Specifically this tomb, said of the horatii, which stands on the right of via Appia Antica, in the part that goes to Ariccia, Albano is an interesting ABANDONED ruin, engulfed by a thick vegetation which makes it invisible. The "monument" unique "architecture" and you can see a certain Majesty, remain, besides stand in peperino: the two truncated conical towers to the East almost up to their Summit with their inner cores and two cones to the West.

  • Attributed to the eternal home of the Orazi e Curiazi (historians are of the same opinion), it would be very nice if poured into a State of advanced decay. Swallowed up by weeds and draped with a perennial scaffolding, passes absolutely undetected, considering that is not located on a main road, it is practically invisible.
