  • To be amazed in front of similar work. Impressive and noteworthy feature of a visit with someone who knows everything and will explain all about the construction, the purpose and operation of a hydraulic engineering masterpiece two thousand years ago ...

  • You can't go in Albano Laziale without seeing this property truly monumental!!! Of course are still used despite her age!!! The Lord getilissimo and knowledgeable and tell really (it is necessary a big thank you to the people of good will like him who do everything to bring to life and reevaluate our treasures!!!) that takes care of the Museum and drove us there has described many things which made us appreciate the visit. An appeal to the head of culture or fine arts, wouldn't it be nice to have a bit of the cistern and arrange your visit on a footbridge over the water or even a ride in a rowboat? I thought they were great cisterns in Fermo, but compared to the Cisternone are almost a toy!!! Enjoy your visit!!! Paul 59

  • Imposing structure of the Romans, even though the duration of the visit is brief advice to inspect it. You can understand the level of Roman hydraulic engineering.

  • Wrong address, staff absent. The tank is closed and, above all, unenlightened. Basically you can't see anything. It's a shame!

  • Those who have visited the Basilica Cistern in Istanbul it may be well aware of what we're talking about. Well this Cistern is even older. An example of how our beautiful land has to be told in all respects, historical and engineering. Unfortunately it is not valued as that of Istanbul. They explained that the plans for a footbridge there are from 20 years ago, but the policy of the city of Albano apparently is not aware of that great treasure can boast. I invite everyone to visit, not all Nations can enjoy treasures still in operation of ERAs so ancient.

  • Archaeological treasure to visit! Beautiful and sadly undervalued.
