  • I would recommend a mass to enjoy the wonder of the Interior, especially the ceiling.

  • On a cold January afternoon harbour some friends in town visiting this beautiful archaeological site guarded under the Cathedral of San Lorenzo. The entrance is from Piazza Rossetti at the Bell Tower of the Cathedral. You descend some steps (for disabled persons is the pallet) and opens an underground world where you can discover the ancient origins of the city of Alba. Beautiful baptismal font dated to the 6th century. and the paved Roman decuman. Descriptive panels in Italian/English. The Museum is part of the SMA (sistema museale albese) and at the tourist office in Piazza Risorgimento you can buy a ticket from 6 € allowing the visit to other cultural monuments and places of the town. If you want to visit only the MuDi it costs 3 € adults/£ 1.50 children aged 6 to 18 years. Interesting!

  • a beautiful lesson of art between Gothic (is one of the most beautiful cathedrals of Piedmont and best preserved architecturally) and neo-Gothic (largely remodelled the Interior according to the 19th-century taste) beautiful chorus.
