Il rifugio Boe' e' senza dubbio uno dei rifugi piu' belli delle Dolomiti e non ci parole per descrivere quanto sia accogliente in tutto e per tutto. more »The Boe's retreat is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful dolomite refuges and no words to describe how friendly all the way.
Ottimo rifugio da cui si gode una vista spaziale. Naturale che uno poi ci debba tornare...e' il minimo. Simpatico il personale e buona cucina more »Great retreat where you can enjoy a view of space. Natural that one then we should go ... it's the least. Friendly staff and good food
Great spot for a rest before the final hike up Piz Boe
The Boè mountain hut is a shelter of the Dolomites in the municipality of Canazei (TN), built in the late 19th century and now owned by the Italian Alpine Club section Alpinisti Tridentini. Is placed in the center of the Sella Massif, opposite the Northwest wall of Piz Boè and on the watershed between the val Mezdì (in the municipality of Badia Alta Badia-South Tyrol) and Val Lastìes (in the municipality of Canazei in Fassa Valley-Trentino). The scenery on the plateau is almost Lunar. The Boè mountain hut, as all first dolomite refuges, was erected from D.Ö.A.V., specifically from section of Bamberg. For this reason, initially the shelter was named "Brambega hut at Boè". Emerged devastated by World War I and in 1921 he passed by society Bohemian climbing to Società degli alpinisti tridentini (SAT) along with other 13 shelters. It was renovated by the latter, he returned in 1924 and took the current name "Boè mountain hut". Then the sanctuary was enlarged on several occasions. Since 1992 the shelter was equipped with a biological purification plant for wastewater treatment and on an experimental basis by the sanitary Works Service of the independent province of Trento.
We slept one night thankfully, meanwhile there are showers, the shelter was packed so you can only imagine the people who do not wash! The eat the bare minimum, as breakfast for what we paid 54.00 each. However the structure is very old, the beds are those of 40 years ago, as everything. Only the scenery is breathtaking.
Cozy warm and stunning! Hard work rewarded. .... The food is good the staff and fantastic friendly and sociable! definitely ... I thank the staff for the hard work they do because thanks to the people who work here we are fortunate we all to live a unique experience ... Thank you very much!!!
Positioned below the Piz Boè, a fantastic landscape in both winter and summer. The prices are those of a normal high mountain hut being at 2950 meters above sea level.
