  • The old and ancient village of Agropoli offers a breathtaking view. On one hand you see the Harbour, constantly supervised by the convent of Saint Francis at the top. Across the sea and the Gulf of Salerno. The village appeals to you now and already the entry tells you what awaits you. A stone staircase, wide, scenic, gently challenging but beautiful. At its peak the town gate does the honours and invites you to enter. Enter the door welcomes a well deserved rest. A lovely little square with a working fountain, gives water fresh and tasteful. The owners of dispensaries drinks of the square have had the good taste not to quit. Before the break, you won't be able to resist, a look at the landscape, lovely. You sit along the perimeter wall and observe the Church, delightful and essential. Waiting for you and you don't know who you come to visit it hurries, few resist, whether Catholic, Protestant or atheist. Leaving the Church continue as brings you the way. You will arrive on the terrace. Filled with tables of two restaurants, there is room to look out and enjoy a breathtaking landscape. An endless sea and the Sun is going down. One of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen. To fully enjoy the view you have to look far beyond, not only with the eyes, but also with their hearts. Make sure you understand what drove those people build this village. Surely they will have looked over. Beyond the boundary of the horizon, beyond the boundary of their imaginations. Beyond the boundary of time, his gaze traveled and reached the target in mirror, reflection, come back and see me overlooking the terrace. Do not go over too good and intense memories of this sunset.

  • The medieval village of Agropoli has an undeniable charm. To reach it you climb a steep staircase, but with steps downs and very broad. All around there are typical restaurants offering the typical Cilento cuisine, but above all there is the ancient port of Agropoli, symbol of the city, churches and a marvellous panorama that reaches to the Amalfi coast and even Goats. We went in the late afternoon, enjoying the sunset ... it was awesome. Go for it, you'll love it!
