  • This is the best time of year to visit the Valle dei Templi, a Unesco World Heritage site. In fact, the Valley turns pink due to extraordinary flowering of the almond trees. This beauty is titled the folklore festival that takes place annually in the Valley and which attracts thousands of tourists and folk groups who come from all over the world. The temples are wonderful and at sunset the show is surreal. The Tuff sandstone, they are made of, will light a red hot by creating a fairy tale. The temples are there for 2,500 years, reinforcing the wonder of this city, Agrigento, Pindar called the ' most beautiful city of mortals. A visit I recommend to everyone, young and old. To find inner calm and serenity. A unique place in the world. Francis.

  • The Valley of the temples shows how to Sicily has a splendid history and have to be part of the places to be known there. Avoid timetables next noon in summer because there is no covered areas.

  • This is an amazing place. You need a good few hours to walk around and some decent shoes - it killed both our pairs of walking sandals! It is well worth it though. The best option is to walk the film route but for €3 you can get a bus one way. There is a cafe on site. Confusingly you pay for the food first then give your ticket to the ladies who heat it up for you.
  • Great historical site. Good amount to see. Best with a tour guide to provide extra information.
  • Nice place to stay. Entrance Fee is 10€ per person. Parking costs extra but there are some places around the parking area which are free
  • The most impressive there is of course the temple of Concordia, as the best preserved one. The only this spot is enough to get there without any doubt. Be prepared however to walk and walk and walk, three hours of walking at least.
  • If you're a tourist visiting Sicily then I will highly recommend this place...you ll feel like you re in the ancient days when you get I just loved it😍
