  • The beautiful small church built on the ruins of a Greek temple of Athena. Very cute little patio and you get inside a small room with wooden ceiling and some where glass tabs in the floor, to see the ruins of the temple. Cute namolennoe place, inside of which the special atmosphere of grace!

  • Old, simple, it is one of the attractions of the city. It is really worth a visit that allows you to immerse yourself in a distant past.

  • Agrigento is known for its temples. Wrongly, many tourists miss this beautiful old church. Especially inside is to see how this construction has seen before. All subsequent (more typically kitischige jewelry) was removed so that the building is to visit in all its beauty. Do not miss!

  • The Church is beautiful and talented volunteer who for free and passionately tells the history of the place while the employees are to the phone and chat loudly. Unlike the Church, the area where it is located as well as the streets we walk to get there from the main street, are in complete disrepair. There's dirt everywhere smell of pee, weeds, crumbling houses.

  • Greek-Byzantine Cathedral built in 1200 on the ruins of an ancient temple, identified as the Temple of Athena and Zeus mentioned by Polybius and the façade features a Gothic portal. If you're lucky, there are volunteers who tell about history and curiosities of this church.
