  • Association Arte&Fede rents the e-bikes in this church. They seem very good option, as the city has a lot of hills and electric help is necessary. They are also not pricy, like 20 euro per day. BUT. T...  more »
  • The walking tour of old Agrigento is basically a tour of churches of which this is one. Really it is nothing special, and once you have seen one church who wants to see another nine?  more »
  • The church is adjacent to the main road through the old part of Agrigento and easily reached on foot. A flight of stairs leads up to the entrance. The church has a nice interior with white sculptures....  more »

  • Here there was a meeting of study among architects, we were fine. The Interior is very impressive, rich in decorative plasters, paintings and a fake dome preabsidale very impressive. Bears a fresco tromp oleyl (1767, Michele Narbone) that some excitement the suggests. 1650 Church is Baroque, the nave is enhanced by the presence of eight statues of the Serpotta representing its virtues.

  • The façade is in Baroque style, enriched by numerous statues, in particular those on either side of the portal, bordered by two spiral columns represent allegories of faith and love.

  • One of the many jewels of Agrigento in superb Baroque style.

  • Actually a wonderful Baroque church, however, a multimedia presentation runs in a continuous loop, which opened a even an impression of purgatory, but takes the view of the building there loudly.

  • Interiors and attractive, but the distinction is that it is one of the few churches in Agrigento, easy to get to!
