  • The mining Center stands on a mine with ancient origins, closed in 1962. You can visit the Museum located in the building of furnaces. Externally you can walk along the structures, many in ruins, the mine and see some entrances to the maze of tunnels dug to extract pyrite. The Creek is dyed red for via dei metalli which emerge naturally. You can still find some sample of pyrite. Always on the site there is a hostel with a restaurant and a small shop selling books.

  • Wonderful scenery, unforgettable place. Myriad of paths for each difficulty and direction. Modern and new facilities obtained from the mining Center. Could be a gold mine if only exploited in Dover and the refreshment-huge, with even rooms overnight-it is always closed and when you opened the eat is nothing new nor excellent. In short, a disappointment. It's worth taking long walks and go to see ghost town but no more aime!

  • The place would be really nice too bad the maintenance leaves something to be desired, the buildings were renovated but now different parts are left to themselves, when in fact it might be a nice attraction for the many tourists to Agordo. The mines can be visited due to the poor conditions in which they are located but at least accessible part needs a revamp. Nice Museum and do the short path leading up to the entrance (closed) of the first mine, santa Barbara, very impressive. Had been in Trentino probably wouldn't have been so abandoned ... Sin.

  • Ostello e ristorante al top. Personale gentile e cibi genuini
  • Before this stop we were not aware of the long history of copper mining in the region and the role this mine played in coppering the bottoms of Venetian ships. Worth the stop for an hour or two to visit the old, restored industrial building and museum.
  • Great, I recommend to visit the complex
