  • Wonderful scenery, unforgettable place. Myriad of paths for each difficulty and direction. Modern and new facilities obtained from the mining Center. Could be a gold mine if only exploited in Dover and the refreshment-huge, with even rooms overnight-it is always closed and when you opened the eat is nothing new nor excellent. In short, a disappointment. It's worth taking long walks and go to see ghost town but no more aime!

  • The place would be really nice too bad the maintenance leaves something to be desired, the buildings were renovated but now different parts are left to themselves, when in fact it might be a nice attraction for the many tourists to Agordo. The mines can be visited due to the poor conditions in which they are located but at least accessible part needs a revamp. Nice Museum and do the short path leading up to the entrance (closed) of the first mine, santa Barbara, very impressive. Had been in Trentino probably wouldn't have been so abandoned ... Sin.

  • The reality is quite different from that which is represented in the various pictures on the leaflets of the mining Center. Going up the Valley looks like the Center was abandoned more than recovered: shrubs, poorly maintained trails, landslides, decaying fences etc. A shame. Pity because a place like this deserves to be valued!

  • Before this stop we were not aware of the long history of copper mining in the region and the role this mine played in coppering the bottoms of Venetian ships. Worth the stop for an hour or two to visit the old, restored industrial building and museum.
