Friendly and helpful guidance. Recommend only for true fans of the famous poet. Visit the room and furnishings that capture the imagination perhaps only by those who already know and admire Guido Gozzano.

Beautiful country house full of Art Nouveau furniture. A pleasure for the eyes. Our guide told us about the life of the young dead just 33 years of Gozzano tbc. A must see though covertly Aglié.

The poet Guido Gozzano spent a few months in our holiday resort in 1909, at Bertesseno fraction of Viù, 50 km from Turin. That's why we at Agliè, my boyfriend and we did not miss the opportunity to visit his home. The House is now privately owned, but can be visited at any time during certain hours, and costs €5 (outside the Museum subscription). Convenient parking close to the entrance. We were accompanied by the custodian, engaging and bright, who told us about the great work done to recover original furnishings, which had been sold and dispersed throughout Europe. Inside looks really that time has stopped, and it is exciting to see the objects mentioned in the poems. This season is the best time to visit the beautiful garden in full bloom and invaded by the scent of Wisteria along the Avenue! A few steps from the villa there is also a pond where Guido on his way to catch butterflies, one of his passions. In short, a little hidden paradise that is worth discovering! Recommended visit at all, we will definitely be back!!

  • Villa Meleto – summer house of Guido Gozzano villa Museum wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the passion of a wealthy family who, passionate about life and work of this great Italian artist, has lavished its careful restoration. When they bought the villa was devoid of furniture, as had previously been sold in order to sell more easily the building. Travelled then the whole Italy and even some cities of Europe in order to regain the original furniture, books, and everything else, but the end result is very good, thanks to sisters of Gozzano. The passion of this family was such that one of the daughters of the owner at the age of 18 years already knew by heart all the poetry of the artist. Currently the Museum is a private museum so the card is no good. Ringing the Bell at the times scheduled for visits, welcomes Mr. Renzo, the curator of the Museum that will accompany you in the various rooms and will enthrall you with love this beautiful story. If you will have the pleasure to hear, will describe the photos, will recount anecdotes and details of our artist. A big round of applause goes out to the family who knew how to retrieve this location and custodian Renzo who is passionately dedicated to his work.

  • Charming and romantic place, linked to the life of Guido Gozzano. Can be visited with a guide inside the garden is delightful. The latter is used for events, such as Indian dance show in July.
