  • Grand complex that encompasses a span of nine centuries, being composed of the ancient fortress of sec. XII, transformed in elegant Manor House, and the adjacent 16th century aristocratic Palace built in the middle of the 18th century and rebuilt in the next century. The visit, which the buildings deserve extensively architecturally and historic-artistic heritage is very interesting and well articulated in different environments, all authentic and in excellent condition, good guide that helps to enhance with any kind of explanation. Magnificent views of the garden and the vast plain below. The castle is inevitable in the castle tour piacentini, highly recommended to both adults and teens, who get reason for enthusiasm and education (is an original argument for educational research).

  • We decided at the fair of Ascenione di Agazzano, Gonzaga Castle Anguissola Scotti. The Castle consists of two buildings located within the same garden (landscaped), next to each other, but separated from each other. The Castle, a defensive structure which played discontinued for a short time, has no furniture, but it is perfectly restored. The second building in chronological order, the aristocratic residence or Château retains the original furnishings and is currently still inhabited, for that reason can be visited only in part. The complex is striking for its grandeur. For a short time you can stay inside the fortress in one exclusive suite with all the comforts and furnishings. You access only with a guided tour for a full price ticket of euro 8.00 (there are of course also the reductions). A tribute to the friendly and knowledgeable guide. If you like castles worth a visit.

  • Unique, the complex consists of two distinct but castles joined together. The oldest part is a military Fortress (rocca) of the 13th century medieval architecture, the interiors are bare and devoid of furnishings like many other military complexes but the structure is well preserved in accordance with a rich and interesting history. The least ancient consists of a villa-17th century castle once connected to the fortress through a drawbridge and is still inhabited. In addition to period furniture, hit the wall paintings (frescoes) that have preserved a sharpness and a wealth of truly awesome colors. Congratulations for the attention with which maintains the grounds, it is clear that the gardener or the tradesmen are not gardeners but passionate. We were accompanied by Serena who, with his skill and sympathy, he involved in a blast from the past through the events that have occurred over the centuries. A visit not to be missed. Convenient parking for motorbikes, better check the timetable of guided tours, entrance €8.

  • Beautiful castle and villa located in a country town. We visited in November. We were the only ones there, and were able to wander around unbothered. We couldnt enter the villa or castle, but the outside views are still very impressive. Free parking.
  • Beautiful medieval castle and well maintained. Guide prepared and available

  • Today, September 25, 2016, I had a tour booked by at least two weeks, with one group came by bus from the province of Udine. Well, come to the Castle where we were actually expected and paid for the ticket, we were invited to wait for the guide that would be "coming soon". Pity that after 25 minutes of waiting we were informed that there was, indeed, was not found; the phone did not respond and that if we had patience for at least an hour could have been overcome with other guide, at that time already occupied. Exposed all the perplexities of the case you could get only a refund of the over thirty tickets already paid cannot obviously lengthen your stay on site having to go back to Udine by evening. Therefore, ZERO STAR rating (one I had to put it to force otherwise wasn't being accepted the review), because I would have loved to visit Castle and Rocca di Agazzano, but it was not possible ... certainly not my fault!!!
