  • weekend in couple. We visited the Castle and it's great, the town overall is pretty and well looked after with all flower arrangements on the entrance of every house. We even took a walk in the woods that we struggled to find since there are many indications. RECOMMENDED

  • We visited the castle on the first day of the trip, beautiful, well maintained, beautiful frescoes, we had a very prepared, and at the same time not long-winded, the Castle also offers a nice view.

  • Of ancient origin, the castle of Torre Alfina has always had great strategic importance due to its geographical position between the borders of Lazio, Tuscany and Umbria. After vicissitudes that occurred over the centuries, in 1880 Guido Bourbon del Monte sold the Castle and all the property (with twenty-six farms) at Belgian Jew banker Edward Cahen. These then I change ' out of whole cloth, giving the current neo-Gothic appearance, playing the ancient building with gray stone of Bagnoregio and making some structural changes. Then, after various vicissitudes, the Castle passed into the hands of the famous Luciano Gaucci, former President of Perugia Calcio: when the entrepreneur has failed the Castle passed into the hands of the Court of Perugia, who, failing to sell it, by 2014 the has outsourced to the family of entrepreneurs Boscolo, famous in the restaurant business. These by 2014 have reopened to visitors and use it as a location for weddings, conventions, luxury villa.

  • The country is gorgeous and as you arrive back in time walking through narrow streets that rise and fall and in every corner there is something that appeals to you. The castle is beautiful and really nice. The domestic established days and times vidite but if your in the area don't miss it. Last thing: the ice cream is a must try!!!
