I've been at this fabulous place with some local friends and with us there were also three children (8-7-5 years). The trail is not known by tourists but I think even by the local authority or anyone else saw that some parts of the trail are filthy and abandoned, you can take from the hamlet of Santa Maria delle Grazie near the church Our Lady of help. The trail is very steep and strenuous but walking through it you can admire a wonderful panorama, this trail is formed by volcanic stone steps and at the end of it all you can admire a large beach formed by huge black rocks collapsing in the beautiful sea. On this beach is also a source. Beautiful to visit.

The path "Acqueranni" is little known to tourists and flows through one of the most intact of the Timpa di Acireale. Take next to the small church of our Lady of help in the hamlet of Santa Maria Delle Grazie. You can admire a fantastic panorama. Along a path quite steep and consists of volcanic stone steps can get to the beach. So worth it because the wide Beach consists of large rounded black rocks offers a scenario very impressive. On the beach there is a source that should be one of the foci of the legendary underground river Aci.

A nice view from the top, although the road to go down to the sea is not very accurate and quite dirty. Fairly comfortable access on foot, from the duomo a way downhill with the overpass on the highway. Don't stay in Acireale for this, it's not worth it. Especially do not visit with the media in August, compared the descent into hell is a sliding scale.

  • Very nice path through volcanic terrain to a characteristic fishing village.
  • it's a steep walk but it's worth it to have a nice point of view on the coast and the town
  • The path of "Chiazzette" represents the ancient road that connects Acireale at sea. Along the trail you can linger at the fortress of touch ". Point from which you can enjoy a wonderful view and thanks to the staff, knowing the stories and anecdotes of places.

  • A natural wonder, was there even with the drone to carry out several times. The missing star for the lack of cleanliness and care for some areas, almost abandoned.

  • Unfortunately like every beautiful treasure but uncared for and respected peccato.ma is worth a visit
