  • Beautiful place, romantic, breath, bad many visitors saw that leave garbage and rubbish different around the path. Terrible. The fifth star is missing only because of uncivilized!

  • Looking down is a green stripe, between Acireale and the sea. The southern part from after Capo Mulini and goes up to Mortara, over four kilometers and a number of important points of interest. "Gazzena", Santa Caterina, Plain, Santa Maria la Scala and the route of the old railway, not enough one day to see it all. At the moment the Plexus is not cured in the best way and usability is relative, but it is definitely a treasure! Good presence of Legambiente to Plain. Visit highly recommended.

  • There are several trails on the lava ridge that descends to the sea of Acireale, one of the most beautiful and comfortable is definitely that of "Chiazzette" and can be easily reached from the city centre and it offers a splendid view of s. Maria la Scala as well as achieve it of course. Unfortunately there are few organized activities to make known and promote this important green lung

  • it's a steep walk but it's worth it to have a nice point of view on the coast and the town
  • Services to users totally absent, often dirty, with guaranteed cleaning often only by volunteers. Easily accessible from the city centre on foot. Breathtaking view.

  • The reserve runs along the SS114 and insists in an area that has remained intact since inaccessible and difficult to access. Offers a fascinating show, overlooking the Ionian Sea coast with a view stretching from Mount Etna, to the coasts of Calabria. Accessed comfortably from the hamlet of Santa Maria delle Grazie and Santa Maria La Scala where I suggest a walk on steep stairway which embraces a wonderful panoramic view.

  • Wild site, hidden, uncomfortable, far from the madding crowd physically and spiritually. So highly recommended!

  • Nature reserve? Highway, railway, and trails transformed into waste collection centers. As usual here no sign... To make... By car or with a gas mask...
