  • Suessola or, for joining say Suessula; was an ancient town of Campania oscan and Etruscan origin destroyed and abandoned at the time of the Saracen invasions. Spinelli di Scalea, account holders in the area and the villa with adjoining Lombard Tower. you have the first excavations of recovery and a first draft of the Museum. Subsequently, the entire collection was donated to the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, where it is still on display in the prehistoric section in special display cases with the name "Spinelli".

  • There is still much to do. It would take economic resources sufficient to allow to proceed with excavations and improve access to sources. Unfortunately we don't have the culture to the South to bring new life to our beautiful history.

  • Interesting archaeological site is located on the outskirts of Acerra at volla Spinelli in another fine establishment if it were restored.
