  • I love the Abruzzo National Park. In this particular case the risk of being a little objective and somewhat unbiased because the Park has a strong sentimental value for me, however it cannot be denied that it is a wonderful place. You can visit countless villages, all beautiful and distinctive, and breathtaking. I would definitely recommend a trip to pescasseroli and Civitella Alfedena, without forgetting that if you don't go for Opi cannot be said to have visited the Park. Civitella Alfedena is also the starting point for the hike to memorable gallows resuni, in my opinion the most striking (attention in summer because there is a limited number), in which, with a little luck you can see almost all animal species that inhabit the Park. 4 hours of climb amid Mountains that have little to envy to some points of the Alps, and the ability to descend from an alternate location. Highly enjoyable and less challenging the Camosciara. You can visit the Park, it's worth it. (And don't forget to stock up on pan ducale, the typical cake, which is a delicacy).

  • territory divided into 3 regions as large as one of the many Italian provinces now secular institution is one of the few serious examples of nature conservation with thousands of rare Botanicals and animals. in a country where it has been possible to make protected areas even outside of the political shift is a true reality.

  • In the middle of Abruzzo you'll find the hearth of such region. An immersion in the land of ancient farmers. Trekking, Hiking and Horse Rising are among the activity I advise to do in such place. If you like water and adrenaline, rafting is also a viable option. In case you love wild animals, don't miss guided tours on the national park. You might be lucky enough to meet bears or wolfs, but don't warry! Most of the times you will see them far away, and of course you'll be protected by security fences. Definitely a place to visit!
  • Really nice place.
  • Stay there its views are outstanding
  • Paradisiac! Beautiful nature, valleys and surrounding mountain peaks. Lots of wildlife, charming small towns. A great way to have a one day escape from city stress, taste local cuisine and be as close to the nature as possible.
  • Enchanted place! Wonderful for hikes, and nature lovers. Must visit
