  • We visited the caves of Cavallone 2 days before the seasonal closure. A pity that this spectacle of nature is not accessible all year round. As he unveiled the talented guide Angela, the caves have the distinction of being the highest Caves in Europe. and, unfortunately, too little known. The gondola is inconvenient and expensive, even the bar restaurant is not up to par. The one above was sadly closed. For the rest, well prepared tour guides recommended excursion, breathtaking landscape, and able to capture children's attention throughout the visit.

  • Wonderful experience, wonderful the gondola ride close to the mountains where there is a constant silence and feeling of peace!! Beautiful and interesting to visit the caves also thanks to the lovely and talented Viviana Guide! Highly recommended!

  • The cave is beautiful, but we encountered difficulties in the tour inside our group was too large, so many people talk about 70 remained back mainly families with children and people getting on in years, so many they couldn't hear what the guide said, creating moodiness General among those thinking only of himself complained of Chios remained back and families with children and elderly who were back , complaining about not being able to listen to nothing despite their ticket had been paid like everyone else. Children who pulled by parents to walk faster always to hear crying. I think this thing should be improved by reducing the number of participants in each group. Thank you.

  • Attention, the place is nice, but as usual here in Abruzzo you just squeeze the purses of the tourist, without treating the services in General, at the foot of the cestovia the toilets are filthy and instead upon arrival, on top, I'm off duty. Can you imagine how many people on a Sunday in August is passed? Clean bathrooms and be nicer. The path to get there is particular, but the caves obviously no biggie. Cestovia, 200 steps, beautiful landscape and normal caves. Cost to come up with 2 adults + 2 children + visiting caves cestovia = 70 euro. It seems to me exaggerated. ..

  • Definitely worth visiting, but beware, it is not a path for everyone, once at the mountain station of cestovia, continue on a path of stairs a bit disjointed and some quite high, for about 25/30 minutes, once you get to the cave, the internal path is still disconnected with ups and downs and slimy fund — all with a temperature of 10° so it is good to be provided with suitable shoes and clothing, the structure in General has an antique flavor, refreshment in the August 23, little Valley was given a special mention for the "cestovia" must try with a spectacular view.

  • Caves of great interest, the highest among those visited in Europe, in a fantastic setting in the Majella. Pity the infrastructure could be better, it was like 20 years ago still.

  • "Not always open but worth ..." It is recommended that they visit but is well aware of the opening period (usually from May to September). Approaching the entrance even by cable car for those who don't want to take a hike long enough ...
