  • I've always been intrigued by the visit of the Cathedral which is located in this town With this excuse I ventured through the streets of the historic center finding it unfortunately closed due to earthquake Are then went to the museo capitolare and I visited other monuments and interesting places I must say that the town is well preserved and clean, has plenty of other neat little churches and is located on a promontory that allows a 360° view and as far as the eye up the chain of Central Apennines Said this will stay again in the future. Not before but that the Cathedral will be reopened to the public

  • The emperor Hadrian's family was of Atri, hence the name of the town. Mail in a hilly area with sea view, mountains and Valley hills. Historicity and its monuments, churches, the Doge's Palace, all of medieval origin. The frescoes of the Cathedral are impregnable, currently not visible. The elegance of the streets, of course, squares, with theatre and historical places such as those of liquorice. The strange and fascinating environment with its gullies, to visit justice, wwf. Pity about lack of synergy and effective and organized reception, for a visit even more complete.

  • Nice town, home of the liquorice. to walk leaving the machine on the belvedere (that view). Cathedral closed until September 2016 x investigations after the earthquake as fallen cornices (though already visited last year) If you have time to be accompanied to see the Badlands at night under the full moon. Also visible in the caves. Lean on the common for accompanied excursions. Buy the panducale. for gourmands

  • It is shameful! You cannot call the Town of Atria to get any information. Shame!
