  • I also married!! Beautiful Council Chamber, with exposed brick walls and large Windows, where numerous events are held throughout the year, including food and wine. Very beautiful and evocative underground, even those used for exhibitions and various events throughout the year. Of course, you can't compare the Castello Sforzesco in Milan, but we don't even have the pretense.

  • Switch from Bards to this "hut" in a matter of weeks, literally is frustrating and disappointing. Lovers of castles and old houses, we start with enthusiasm towards Abbiategrasso, historically significant locations and that creates a lot of expectation. It's Sunday, in the square in front of the castle there are the stalls, then all this portends to a tasty visit. In addition, we are also loaded by reading the opportunity to visit the dungeons. A clamorous Pack! 1-the castle can be visited only from Mondays to Saturdays, but on Saturday mornings only. Only in the morning? But if it is closed on Sundays and Saturdays it is open only half a day, what you do, you miss a day of work to go visit? 2-the dungeons are R-I-D-I-C-O-L-I. Old stables remodeled posed very little under the level of the Castle. Just to name one "at random", the castello sforzesco in Milan has 3 underground levels but actually underground. Please review the term "underground". I quote from treccani.it: "that is, that is under the ground." If not under, it's not a Dungeon. 3-the castle is a castle, a Rahman, a rampart, a pebble. It's obvious who has been the victim of all kinds of jobs over time, but it's lacking in charm, personality, attractiveness. Not to mention the interior courtyard that, partly because of a gallery, it looks like a tenement of old Milan. If then to embellish a Roman milestone, pure Cathedral in the desert, then the noise is made. I feel compelled to write, because he does not deserve more time. I've already wasted too much either to review it, above all, to go see it. Offensive.

  • Nice old building, come here when there is an event on. We visited when there was a theatre festival and it was great.

  • Beautiful Visconti Castle, located in the central position in Pavia! This mediaval castle (1360) is a must see when visiting Pavia! I had a chance to visit it during the little beer festival so the atmosphere was really great! We enjoyed nice music and great local food and beers, while enjoying magnificent interior courtyard of the castle! Recommended!
  • niente di che
  • Big and wonderful italian castle, a must if you are visiting Pavia!
  • Very interesting place with a lot of thematic museums inside: Romans, Egypts... Very interesting expositions along the year, Picasso, Monet ...
  • Impressive place.
