  • If you are going to visit in this region, I don't then recommend to start your tour by Arbel national park because it offers an incredible panorama on all the northern part of this region, as well as on the Eastern Galilee, on the site of Hattin (there where the Crusaders were defeated by Saladin in July 1187). The panorama allows to locate the sites you will explore possibly in the rest of the day, including Magdala, Capernaum, the Mount of the Beatitudes and others. If you have binoculars, it is even better. As it is a national park, admission is pay and must be carried out during the opening hours. Good visit!
