  • The first museum with contemporary art exhibitions I loved! Can you imagine that? Three hours of observing, watching and accepting. The museum itself is big, the space is clean and fresh. A lot of air to breathe. It's worth to come. The exhibition that touched me deeply is "Hexagonal lobes, moist tube and other riddles".
  • Amazing museum with an endless amount of exhibitions and artifacts that span many eras but more focused towards modern art and local artists. A beautiful plaza out front and an easy walk in the downtown area makes this a convenient getaway when visiting the city. Audio guides and maps are available as part of the standard admission ticket. Some time limited special exhibitions are well worth checking out.
  • The building is spectacular. Could also be a spaceship made of concrete. A nested building that stands right next to the opera house. No less attention-grabbing. The exhibitions are also very worth seeing. Very modern. Since I only visit the modern part of the museum, I mainly see sculptures.
  • What a way to spend a wonderful (rainy) day at the museum. At noon, a free tour was offered by an official guide who took us to some major parts of the building and shared some history of the artists and the architecture of the museum with us. Modern art, impressionist, photography and actions taken to fight against climate change are all offered in this huge building. These are just examples of what you can find there. Adult admission is 50 ILS. Well worth it!
  • Cool modern museum with lots of interesting Jewish and non-jewish art. It's a modern building so it may not be easy to navigate, but has lots of interesting and unique art, some very large. There are also about 3 small theaters to watch moving art. Their temporary exhibitions are their strongest, their permanent older collections is a little weak, but maybe that's for another museum. The best part is that it's open on Saturdays (during Sabbath), so recommend activity for that.
