  • Dear travelers and guests of Israel. In the year 1871 on a hill near Jaffa was founded by a colony of Saron-agricultural village of the Templars, the German Christians, aimed at settling the Holy land. Saron was built much like a Roman cities and most villages juzhnogermanskih-intersecting cross the road to the sea "(from West to East, now Kaplan Street) and ulica Christoph Hoffmann (Engl.) (from North to South, now David Elazar Street), during which there were 30 houses, as well as several public buildings, textile factory and a large winery. All the buildings were constructed from kurkara-local material, often used in Mediterranean countries. From the West, "the road to the sea adjoined to the road linking Arab Jaffa and the village of Sumajl' (the current Rue Ibn Gvirolja and Judea Halévy), from the East to the road to Nablus and Damascus (Menachem Begin Avenue). After the announcement of these buildings, historical sites, and in the year 2000 was filed a new plan for road expansion project in 2005 year 5 houses were moved over a distance of about 30 meters, which was the first experience in Israel, and cost 26 000 000 shekels (approximately $6,000,000). In 2008 year, Kaplan Street extension finished buildings were repaired and the Templars in 2012 year district was opened for public visit. This place is amazing beauty of landscape design. Many restaurants, shops, cafes, boutiques, galleries, leave no one indifferent. Here you can have a great time. Do not deny yourself the pleasure of travel.

  • Walk along the restored tourist area is very nice. Walking, both in scenery. There are a lot of restaurants. The recently opened Museum of whisky, where you can not only learn, but also to taste the expensive drink. Be sure to look into the shop volchkov (savivonov). And if it's a Saturday night, then watch the free submission of circus and street actors. Parking in the neighborhood a lot, but basically all paid.
