Where to stay in Tel Aviv

Dedicated to beach culture, Tel Aviv features many mid-range hotels facing the sea. Look for accommodations here if you plan to spend much of your time in or near the water. For easier access to top cultural attractions, opt for boutique establishments in the southern section of the city center, where you'll also find numerous restaurants and cafes. Alternatively, stylish options in Jaffa (the port area) provide access to the city's Arab heritage and a chance to discover a vibrant street life and numerous markets.

  • Beautiful and colorful street. Recommends visiting both during business hours when the old textile stores are open, and at night / Saturdays when the closed shop covers turns into a colorful display of graffiti.
  • Highly recommend the art fair on Tuesdays and Fridays. If you are looking for artwork or gifts for any age, you can't go wrong there. All of the artists and very happy to answer questions, to talk about their work and to help you make a good selection.
  • Outdoor arts and crafts market. Many of the sellers are the crafts people themselves. Great range of items. We went on a Friday morning and it was very lively.
  • Perfect Friday morning place. Amazing ambience of the flea market makes a perfect setting.
  • The place to experience the marketplace and stores like true israelis. Off the beaten track for tourists. Must also visit Shuk HaCarmel
