  • Nachlat Binyamin is a very cool part of Tel Aviv. It offers anything from unique artwork to clothes stores, bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Not to be missed  more »
  • There are some very creative and different crafts available and with a couple of restaurants in the immediate area - this makes for a nice visit on a Tuesday or Friday.  more »
  • Loads of interesting things to buy in an open market place. I would not go there if it rains heavily but in a nice weather, it's worth the visit.  more »

  • Fun out door artisan market with lots of different handmade treasures. We happened to hit it on a Tuesday (every Tuesday and Friday) and spent a few hours wandering around the open air stalls. I scored a lovely hand hammered silver ring.
  • I like to walk around there, the atmosphere is nice. There are some good artisans, you can find good stuff there. They have jewelry, pottery, glass and also really nice toys for kids. Everything is handcrafted.
  • Nachalat Binyamin - there's a artist's market twice a week which is usually very crowded, but worth a visit. At the one end of the market for example is an artist which makes tiny animals out of glass in a high quality. There's different and very unique other artists as well. When there's no market the street is a very calm street for pedestrians. Some Nike's rush through and some cars of residents which live there. The street has a lot of art shops as well as shops selling fabrics. Definitely worth a visit!
  • Closes early! Plan to get there before night time. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, cool bars and restaurants in the area too. Great spot for both tourists and locals.
  • Nice, but nothing special, at least for my taste. On weekends there are lots of stalls selling all kind of handcrafts, usually in very high prices. On a normal day there are just lots of fabric shops around and is quite empty.

Where to stay in Tel Aviv

Dedicated to beach culture, Tel Aviv features many mid-range hotels facing the sea. Look for accommodations here if you plan to spend much of your time in or near the water. For easier access to top cultural attractions, opt for boutique establishments in the southern section of the city center, where you'll also find numerous restaurants and cafes.
