  • Authentic flea market. We hit this on our walk back from the Jaffa old city. There were so many wee treasures, and a heap of (in my eyes) junk. This is the epitome of ‘one mans trash...’ Worth a look ...  more »
  • Still no flea market I haven't came out empty-handed, but this proved to be the exception. Found only one worthwhile thing, but the seller opened such a price and haggle.

  • The Jaffa flea market covers several blocks in Jaffa not far from the clock tower. It is a mix of stores, stallsl, and carts. Anything and everything is for sale. Mixed in are boutique stores and dini...  more »

  • quaint place, full of antiques, both real and fake, merchants spreading their used/new wares. Small streets of an old town, so near places which look modern and new. It all is very colorful and comfortably accessible by public transportation to the main street of Jaffa, from there to wander among the small shops or to go from there to the sea wall to enjoy lunch in the open air.
  • Do this for the charm, the history and the experience. It really isn't your typical flea market and many may be disappointed as there are generally a lot of old brassware and other ancient items (which may or may not appeal to tourists). However there are great cashmere scarves which make excellent gifts! If you pay more than 100 shekels for 4, you're being overcharged. PS. Carry water. Gets hot out
  • This cool marketbis one of Tel Aviv's main attractions. It's a fashionable flee market with great atmosphere. Cool Yuppie bars, cafes and restaurants are next to old style second hand stores, while designed stores are next to old craftsmen. Wonderful place to hang around and be part of Tel Aviv's free spirit being. It's not far by foot from the amazing old Jaffa and its ancient port.
  • Nice and has a lots of historical objtects, however you have to differenciate between real ones and just junk. Beaufiful carpets.
  • Cool and historical, you can find things that you won't see in any common stores but you'll struggle to find a parking lot

Dedicated to beach culture, Tel Aviv features many mid-range hotels facing the sea. Look for accommodations here if you plan to spend much of your time in or near the water. For easier access to top cultural attractions, opt for boutique establishments in the southern section of the city center, where you'll also find numerous restaurants and cafes.
