Hagana Museum, Tel Aviv

(4.4/5 based on 90 reviews on the web)
Visit Hagana Museum, a museum dedicated to the establishment of the Jewish Yishuv and its military group, the Hagana which served as the foundation for the Israel Defense Forces. The museum operates in the former home of Eliyahu Golomb, one of the founders and famous commanders of the Hagana. The house was originally constructed in 1914 and has been preserved to reflect the typical Tel Aviv lifestyle of the time. Observe numerous original artifacts such as photos, weapons, testimonials, and accounts documenting the struggle in creating the state of Israel. You'll be able to learn about revolts, wars, and how the military evolved into an officially recognized state defense force. • To get in you must endure once a thorough survey, ID check, and an examination about themselves. Price of admission is acceptable, the exhibition on 3 floors is quite worth seeing. Israel is originated from illegal settlements, no wonder that this continues. It was in the history of the State shed a lot of blood and relentlessly fought until the UN resolution gave the State. Today, the relationship is deeply broken down due to the settlement construction. Is not mentioned, that the rearmament of the army through the assistance of Germany with the old German army stocks was possible.
