Hagana Museum, Tel Aviv
(4.4/5 based on 85 reviews on the web)
Visit Hagana Museum, a museum dedicated to the establishment of the Jewish Yishuv and its military group, the Hagana which served as the foundation for the Israel Defense Forces. The museum operates in the former home of Eliyahu Golomb, one of the founders and famous commanders of the Hagana. The house was originally constructed in 1914 and has been preserved to reflect the typical Tel Aviv lifestyle of the time. Observe numerous original artifacts such as photos, weapons, testimonials, and accounts documenting the struggle in creating the state of Israel. You'll be able to learn about revolts, wars, and how the military evolved into an officially recognized state defense force. • Many things about the movement of the Hagana megértetettem in the Museum. The Hagana, the Jewish settlers ' movement was created to protect, and then countries have helped the Israeli, who is 2. The horrors of World War II by fleeing refugees. We were alone in the halls, but then they came from school groups, and the kids really stunned and quietly watched the movies, pictures. Of course, only to recommend a transfer who did not hate!

  • Museum interesting for the tourist in search of information on the genesis of a young State whose birth took place in pain.

  • Difficult to visit Tel Aviv without going to this Museum (bd Rothschild) to discover in what violent turmoil made the creation of this atypical State and what were all the difficulties he had to overcome! In a private house which was a Haganah headquarters, we discovered two period rooms furnished without change, many documents on paper, but also very interesting video re-enactments (better to speak English...). After an hour and a half for an exciting tour.
