"On the edge" is a great Israeli art exhibition, on different things that can be made of paper. It is self explanatory, with variety of styles and techniques  more »

Was very nice to wander around the Museum. The main thing for us was to visit plinterium and great kids (ages 6 to 14), you can't get in with babies and someone had to stay out ... And that's no bummer lmsaada Kosher Certification that open on Saturday. So we weren't able to finish the tour with a meal instead. Of Nice

We can talk about museums in the plural because they are several specialized Pavilion (pottery, glass, philately, numismatics (very chronological, abundant and educational), Rothschild family, etc...) One regret not the closing of two of the pavilions and the reduced opening hours (10 H 14 H00 the day of our visit despite a relatively expensive entry

Nice exhibitions for children and adults, each on a separate building with walking distance between them. All explained in Hebrew and English. Recommended are the glass works exhibition and the coin collection. Planetarium shows for space travelers. Medium sized paid parking lot.

The gift shop was good if a little expensive. I had lunch at the Italian restaurant attached to the building. The food was good too. Waiters pleasant if a little slow. The coin collection was fascinating as was the ethnolographic exhibit. Postal museum also quite fascinating. Different parts of the museum as quite far apart so be prepared for a walk and a climb. Archelogical exhibits also interesting. Flour mill and an olive press. Worth a visit if you have 4 hours or so.

Wonderful permanent exhibits in the glass, coins, ceramics, glass and postal pavilions. Temporary (until end of July?) exhibition of works by Israeli paper artists is well worth visiting.

Not the best museum in terms of art and exhibitions. Planetarium is nice to try with kids. Another advantage os that you can also reach there by public transport.
