Dizengoff Fountain, Tel Aviv
(2.9/5 based on 120+ reviews on the web)
A landmark piece of public art in the heart of a lively square, Dizengoff Fountain turns its colorful wheels throughout the day and night, spraying water and spitting fire up to the skies. A kinetic sculpture constructed in 1986 by Israeli artist Yaacov Agam, the fountain represents an excellent example of kinetic and op art, its vibrant geometric shapes now an icon of the square. Come in the evening to see it lit up, or in the day to listen to its regular musical displays. • After dark, if you enjoy a little show of colors, you may want to check this fountain out! Great to see if you are in the area or passing by.

  • I just love this place. Cool spot during the day and looks amazing at night.
  • Iconic fountain designed by the know artist Yaakov Again. Combines a combination of water, moving parts and special geometric shapes unique to Agam's unique artistic signature.
  • I don't know why they want to destroy this beautiful fontain and square. So sad
  • I cannot believe the Dizengoff fountain has not one review (at least in America). This fountain is iconic. A beautiful and strange center to the city where you can buy odd soviet Jewelry on the flea market day or watch Russian punk rockers drink to no end. The pigeons bathing here are adorable. I recall fire would sometimes fly out the top.
  • One of Tel Aviv 's hidden gems. Interesting architecture.
