History Museum Museum
One of the main residences of Israel’s first Prime Minister--left to the state after his passing--Ben-Gurion House now serves as a museum and memorial to Israel's founding father. Ben-Gurion lived here with his family when he wasn’t staying at the official Prime Minister’s residence in Jerusalem or his retirement home. On a free tour of the building, you can see Ben-Gurion’s humble chambers, where he wrote the final draft of Israel’s Declaration of Independence, and an array of his books, documents, photographs, and personal items. Put Ben-Gurion House at the forefront of your travel plans using our Tel Aviv vacation builder.

  • Unforgettable hours to have a glimpse into the life of this great man. One really feels a warmth in this house witnessing Ben Gurion's daily life (even the kitchen where he had meals with his wife Paula). And upstairs four rooms serving as his library with 20,000 books and periodicals in 10 languages. The host was very friendly and showed me a film about Ben Gurion's life and battle. If you are in Tel Aviv, please do not miss to visit. Entrance is free.

  • Nice piece of Israeli history - quick tour that shouldn't take more than 30mins to an hour.
  • Pretty, and interesting, but not a hugely compelling stop.
  • Good museum and amazing library
