(4.5/5 based on 80 reviews on the web)
Weizmann House provides an inside perspective on the life of Israel's first president, Dr. Chaim Weizmann. The house once served as the president's actual home, originally built in 1936 and designed by famous architect Erich Mendelsohn. The tour starts with a film highlighting the goals and visions of Weizmann. See his presidential car, a classic Ford Lincoln Cosmopolitan, given to him by Henry Ford II. Explore the surrounding garden, which features the resting site for Weizmann and his wife. • Very interesting visit for the whole family. House of the first president of the State of Israel, Chaim Weizmann, and the founder of the Weizmann Institute of Science. Nice house and grounds, and Chaim Weizmann's car is also on the grounds inside a temperature/humidity-controlled glass enclosure. Arrange for a visit via the Weizmann's Visitors Center. Afterwards (or before), take a walk around the Weizmann Institute campus -- one of the nicest and well-kept university campuses around.
  • Interesting place well maintained.
