For the price you pay - you could expect better. Not everything is working, other stuff requires supervisors/guided tour to operator. Craft lab is primitive. Kids become boring fast. more »
Hands on science museum. Very interesting and educative institute. All ages are invited to explore scientific ideas in an outside science park. more »
I went on a quiet day. There were no English guide books that day. But the exhibits each had explanations in English. It is an outdoor garden with hands on science related exhibits. All to be touched ... more »
Although sponsored by the Weitzman institute and with a paid entry, most of the exhibitions are worn and many do not function. Guides are sometimes shallow and cannot answer questions.
I think in the past this place used to be awesome. But today it's run down, and many exhibits are no longer operational, broken or simply unappealing. The staff is very nice though.
Very good and warmly recommended outdoors hands-on physics lab. Fits for the kids of any age, grown-ups won't be bored neither
Great for kids ages 4-9. Was better a couple of years ago but still a great family destination.
I went there with my sister and her kids (ages 7, 9 and 10) for the "Secrets of the sea" exhibition, and all of them had a great time, were very curious to experience everything, listened to the very nice guide's explanations and asked many questions. This place is perfect for a full day activity as there are so many things so see, read and try, plus if you bring food and drinks (its allowed!) you can have a really nice picnic on the grass. Last but not least, its a very cost-effective activity, as the entire family with all kids are only 135 if you book online. I did'nt know that tip, and payed in the entrance the full price (150, which is still reasonable). My nephew told me not long after our visit, that he wants to be a scientist, ha! In short, highly recommended.
