I was in Latrun countless times and it's one of the most beautiful spots in the region through Tel Aviv. Instead of a church and monastery of men. A shop selling wine and other things made by monks. Check the Church hours because it closes at noon. After your visit you can hike around up there are the ruins of a crusader fortress, around beautiful woodland where you can do a nice little picnic. Easily accessible to public transport.

the Monastery is simply a good representative of history and tradition in Israel. Those who like to visit sites looking for a piece of history, will find there a quite interesting find.  more »

Silence, peace, peace. A beautiful landscape. Visit necessarily. The local wine is known to the whole world. It can be purchased in the shop at the monastery. Also honey, infusion and various souvenirs. Not far from the monastery is the tank Museum and Park "mini Israel".
