  • The gardens are beautiful, the church is simple but it was a wonderful place for me. As an ordained minister it was quite moving to be there in light my vocation. The area is completely free of charge...  more »
  • You have to have faith. And imagination. The place is cozy and cute Church, its location on the Lake beautiful and the lake itself enjoyable. Worth a quick visit, better with a guide who will explain and will involve.

  • Peaceful and reflective place. The shoreline was nice to cool our feet in. Jesus appeared to the disciples for the third time after his resurrection on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. The large stone in the Mensa Domini Church building is where breakfast takes place with Jesus. John 21:12-14 Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.” Yet none of the disciples dared ask Him, “Who are You?”—knowing that it was the Lord. Jesus then came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish. This is now the third time Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was raised from the dead.
  • Very nice and see shore is wonderful
  • Tradionally this is believed to be one of the location where Jesus appeared after his resurrection. He directed the disciples to cast their fishing net on the right side of their boat while he also prepared breakfast for them on the shore. Whether or not it actually is no one knows. However, given the fact that Jesus spent a lot of his ministry in this immediate area it is likely that he was at this location a number of times. This may have been my favorite place to visit in all of Israel. Amongst all the places Jesus could have spent his time it was this humble and serene area that he chose to live in, disciple his followers and speak to humanity. This is also one of the few locations in Israel that Jesus ministered in that the Churches have not over built on. It's still more or less the same way it was 2,000 years ago.
  • Peter's Primacy church is a small chapel in a serene location next to the short line of the Sea of Galilee. By Christian tradition it is where Jesus appeared to Peter and other dicsiples after his resurrection. It is one of the most humble and peacefull Christian holy site in Israel!
  • House Of Peter. A picturesque place, interesting especially for Christians
