Reenact the early life of Jesus at Nazareth Village, an open-air museum in the eponymous town. Aimed at reconstructing the 1st-century farm and village in Galilee, the village features a large number of traditional houses, ancient-style workshops, terrace fields, and dry stone mills. The Scottish foundation-run theme park gives a wide range of hands-on experience to visitors, just 0.5 km (0.3 mi) away from the ancient town center. Explore a Jesus-style carpentry shop or check out a good shepherd next to a pen full of sheep, which you can feed. Appropriately dressed actors keep the lore alive, demonstrating daily life some 2,000 years ago. Put Nazareth Village and other Nazareth attractions into our Nazareth vacation generator, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • Brought tears to my eyes. As I gazed at the pictures I felt as tho He was looking over my shoulder.
  • Great friendly staff, extremely insightful explanation of life and challenges of the first century, beautiful view of the city. A must see while in Nazareth.
  • Nazareth Village was an amazing experience. These are actual 1st century ruins where Yeshua probably had been, but the ruins have largely been restored where one can see how the homes and synagogues looked and operated. The Village is populated by people in the proper dress, doing the work how it would have been done in that time. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and was able to answer every question our group had. I highly recommend a tour when you visit the Holy land. This was definitely a step back into the culture of Scripture. Shalom...
