  • A great zoo! Besides exciting animals there are many open and green areas providing plenty of open areas when you walk around. Only downside is that food is only sold at the entrance. So either you have to buy it when you come in, or you need to remember your lunch yourself, because when you walk around in the park, they only sell ice cream and candy, and a visit can easily take 3-4 hours.
  • Unique zoo. Great for kids and adults. Lots of kids activities, playgrounds and places to explore. Nice visitor's center with cafeteria, designed as Noah's Ark. A motorized train takes visitors on a circular route. The park is stroller and wheelchair-accessible.
  • Great facilities. Slightly on the expensive siide for ice cream, drinks, food, ( bring a packed lunch). Entrance fees reasonable, and staff friendly. Plenty of animals to see, a good variety from around the world with animals from Israel. The zoo takes care of sick and injured animal's and relies on the entrance fees and donations from the public. A worthy cause. Great day out for adults and kid's of all ages, give yourself a good 4 hours to see everything.
  • Unique zoo. It is designed to be a part of the mountain's landscape. Considebly small to other zoos in big cities but that is a part of the charm. It has many cool places for kids to explore and enjoy. Great to take the kids and adults.
  • The Jerusalem Zoo! Kids love it, especially the train (not on Chol HaMoed). If you want to avoid the crowd during the festivals, come VERY early and leave before the mid-day heat. Tip 1: take the train until Noah's Ark and walk DOWN from there. Tip 2: Go on Isru Chag, before the kids go back to learn, but after the holiday. Tip 3: bring plenty of water
