Where to stay in Jerusalem

Although it lacks a big selection of mid-range options, Jerusalem provides plenty of choices in the top-end hotel category. The Old City contains the bulk of Jerusalem's small hotels, inexpensive hostels, and religious hospices, all of which appeal to budget-conscious travelers. West Jerusalem offers additional options in the form of guesthouses and bigger hotels, some of which boast five-star ratings. If you just need a bed, consider a youth hostel, where you can choose between private and common rooms with Wi-Fi included.

  • This is my beloved monastery in the Holy land. It is located on the northern downhill, thus, it is not so hot there even in summer. When you enter the monastery and several minutes walk inside through beautiful small paths among fine plants and trees you start feeling as if you are in the paradise. It is calm, tranquil place that helps you focus on praying and communication with God.
  • Beautiful monastery with a very nice view from top of the hill on the village Ein Kerem
  • beautiful architecture
  • A big thanks to the Sisters of Gornensky monastery trudnicam, especially sister Tatiana, our guide, for the warm welcome and attention, great patience, love to all people. Clean hotels, varied and delicious food, natural beauty-very friendly staff, visited several times near the Church of the tomb of Christ, all felt God's grace. You cannot convey my feelings in words.
