Where to stay in Jerusalem

Although it lacks a big selection of mid-range options, Jerusalem provides plenty of choices in the top-end hotel category. The Old City contains the bulk of Jerusalem's small hotels, inexpensive hostels, and religious hospices, all of which appeal to budget-conscious travelers. West Jerusalem offers additional options in the form of guesthouses and bigger hotels, some of which boast five-star ratings. If you just need a bed, consider a youth hostel, where you can choose between private and common rooms with Wi-Fi included.

  • Great experience. The museum does a great job of presenting the history in a fair and inedibly engaging format. Also, the coffee from the cafe is par for the course, the great quality I've come to expect when travelling to counties that don't put up with burnt coffee.
  • It was a nice experience when I visited the museum last year. The tour was nice. The museum staff guided us through the inside of the museum, and she was very careful with us.
  • A must for any Christian! The place is modern, informative, and critical in understanding why and how to stand with Israel
  • Awesome I will definitely come back my next time in Israel!
  • Must SEE when you visit Israel or whatever you want to learn about the history of Israel as the Jewish state for Jews. Guided tour is ~1 hour. Great exhibition that also includes great usage of high tech: Very wide screens, floor lighting and interactive projections on irregular flat surfaces of wooden sclptures and 3D movie all with great sound. Museum tells the history of how the holly land of Jews was revived from 4,000 years ago, after the Jews where exiled from the Jewish land of Israel by the Romans 2,000 years ago.
