  • The old city is seen from the Esplanade at Montefiore and the Tower of David, is a magnificent point of observation of a large part of Jerusalem. It is the typical mill as well as a float.

  • This mill, which was originally the navel of a new neighbourhood of Jerusalem has outside of the walls is starting point for a pleasant pedestrian circuit in a neighborhood richly sacrified views the walls [there are a lot of steps climbing / has] down]

  • The windmill itself is just that, a windmill. It really isn't that big of a deal but it's a historic place in Jerusalem in a lovely neighborhood. The surrounding homes were originally built to encourage people to live outside the walls of the old city. Apparently the homes were literally given away and people were paid to move in! The little alleyways are lovely. I recommend visiting here just to check out the cute little houses!
  • One of the more prominent landmarks in the capital, the windmill is visible from multiple directions and audio information stations nearby offer a brief history lesson that puts the windmill into context. There is also a magnificent view of both the Old City and the Judean hills. A permanent exhibit showcases a reproduction of Montefiore's chariot.
  • Nothing special. You canot get insaide the windmill. Wiewpltform are ok.
  • One of the Bestest views over Old Jerusalem. Excellent point for watching sunrise and moonrise. The Yamin Moshe quarter is right there, it is worth a nice romantic walk. There is a parking lot by the mill. The Jaffa gate entrance into the. Old city is by crossing the Yamin Moshe quarter takes 20 minutes. Do not hesitate to include the mill in your visit to Jerusalem.
  • Nice view. It is recommend to walk around the area.
