  • The monastery was built on the site where one of the roots have grown 3 wood: cedar, pine and cypress that make up the cross on which Jesus Christ was crucified later, after God`s mind.In Georgian monastery of the Holy Cross, serbian St.Sava has raised residences at his first pilgrimage in 1229 A.C.
  • Perfect in all aspects. Will recommend an extra toilet.
  • Very interesting, beautiful place! Its a georgian monastery actually built a thousand years ago. Looks like a castle. Picturesque! Entrance fee - 15 nis. They have a small museum and a church. Definitely worth a visit. In a shop - shirts for baptizing quite cheap. In a museum - gold icon, a present from Georgian president.
  • amazing place, in the heart of the city.
  • Simple and pleasant accommodation. Rather frosty reception from staff.
