  • An amazingly built like a fortress monastery in the heart of Jerusalem. The site from where tradition says the wood for the Crucifixion came from.
  • Very interesting, beautiful place! Its a georgian monastery actually built a thousand years ago. Looks like a castle. Picturesque! Entrance fee - 15 nis. They have a small museum and a church. Definitely worth a visit. In a shop - shirts for baptizing quite cheap. In a museum - gold icon, a present from Georgian president.
  • Simple and pleasant accommodation. Rather frosty reception from staff.
  • The Monastery of the Cross is located in the heart of western Jeruslaem, but once it was a remote location outside the old city. By local tradition it is over the place where the tree that was eventually used for the crucifixion of Jesus grew.
  • Place look now so good. Will never come there again
  • מקום קטלני יפה עתיק וכיף מזנון פצצה בקיצור חוויה
