Shopping Shopping Mall
Take a stroll along Mamilla Mall, a 600 m (2,000 ft) long outdoor shopping mall, in the preserved and restored neighborhood of Mamilla. Planned since the 1970s, the open-air mall was designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie, who incorporated the historic buildings in the area into the layout of the promenade. Browse the upscale stores and boutiques, check out the art galleries, or visit one of the trendy restaurants that line the pedestrian-only stretch. Ample parking is available in the underground part of the mall. Use our Jerusalem itinerary maker to arrange your visit to Mamilla Mall and other attractions in Jerusalem.

Where to stay in Jerusalem

Although it lacks a big selection of mid-range options, Jerusalem provides plenty of choices in the top-end hotel category. The Old City contains the bulk of Jerusalem's small hotels, inexpensive hostels, and religious hospices, all of which appeal to budget-conscious travelers. West Jerusalem offers additional options in the form of guesthouses and bigger hotels, some of which boast five-star ratings. If you just need a bed, consider a youth hostel, where you can choose between private and common rooms with Wi-Fi included.
