Mamilla Mall, Jerusalem

#4 of 33 in Shopping in Jerusalem
Take a stroll along Mamilla Mall, a 600 m (2,000 ft) long outdoor shopping mall, in the preserved and restored neighborhood of Mamilla. Planned since the 1970s, the open-air mall was designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie, who incorporated the historic buildings in the area into the layout of the promenade. Browse the upscale stores and boutiques, check out the art galleries, or visit one of the trendy restaurants that line the pedestrian-only stretch. Ample parking is available in the underground part of the mall. Use our Jerusalem itinerary maker to arrange your visit to Mamilla Mall and other attractions in Jerusalem.

I don't think there is a modern shopping street in Jerusalem did not even is. Clothing and miscellaneous goods, jewellery, luxury goods are sold daily. While window shopping and walking takes 30 minutes. I'd wander fast food shop is located near the entrance, the small break here. Is where the clerk will speak to friendly, talkative people enjoy 10 minutes. All brick exterior wall way back into the Hall, situated on the corner of symbols and numbers are written in red. And the bricks were written by brick building before building a shopping mall here was pretty much collapsed, to restore to restore numbers and number; Meerkat-like object on the steps of the Hall and taking commemorative pictures on side of the sculpture.

Several famous brand shops in the world, as well as local shops with products of excellent quality. In addition to sensational cafes scattered around the site. It's a mall, however, "surrounded" by walls. Amazing.

Lots of shops and restaurants in this open air mall. Also a good phone store if you need a SIM card. The Mamilla Hotel is located around the corner. Great roof top bar with fabulous views of the city.  more »

Where to stay in Jerusalem

Although it lacks a big selection of mid-range options, Jerusalem provides plenty of choices in the top-end hotel category. The Old City contains the bulk of Jerusalem's small hotels, inexpensive hostels, and religious hospices, all of which appeal to budget-conscious travelers. West Jerusalem offers additional options in the form of guesthouses and bigger hotels, some of which boast five-star ratings. If you just need a bed, consider a youth hostel, where you can choose between private and common rooms with Wi-Fi included.
