It's special to come here and see what you've heard so much about. 2000 year old olive trees! The Church! We had a knowledgeable guide who told us a lot of history. Very useful!

Next to the Basilica of the agony is the place where Jesus was betrayed by Judas and imprisoned. There are olive trees very old and others planted by various popes. There is a small plant still planted recently by father Francisco. Nice place to see after visiting the Basilica.

A place of peace and tranquility in the afternoons after pilgrim groups visit in the mornings. Impressive olive trees that I call the silent witnesses that saw Christ being arrested.

A yard with plenty of trees, it was a quick tour when I was visiting it, because the tour guide was telling me to stay in the last. Did anyone encountered that tour guide before? The tour organizer said he was from Taiwan and our pastor said nothing about it. I feel very strange about it.

Very beautiful garden with very old olive trees. It sure helps you imagine how things were like 2000 years ago. There is a church there, but we did not go in.

I wish I'd had more time here...2 of the older olive trees are old enough to have been in the Garden when Jesus was there. Fantastic.

Thousand flock to this site and it can get very busy with tour groups coming through, with a guide you will understand the significance of this site, otherwise it's just another beautiful church in a city full of them.

Although it lacks a big selection of mid-range options, Jerusalem provides plenty of choices in the top-end hotel category. The Old City contains the bulk of Jerusalem's small hotels, inexpensive hostels, and religious hospices, all of which appeal to budget-conscious travelers. West Jerusalem offers additional options in the form of guesthouses and bigger hotels, some of which boast five-star ratings. If you just need a bed, consider a youth hostel, where you can choose between private and common rooms with Wi-Fi included.
